Show 88 On the Colorado River , between Castle Creek and Moab , navigability , if it is ( navigable n1tvigable ) , must rest upon the experience in bringing down the few lumber rafts at irregular times , and the few small boats . Between Moab and the Junction it must rest upon the ( expe- expe ) rience of the scow of the Moab Garage Company , which made most of its trips only 18 miles down the river , and none exceeding 40 miles . On the Green ( River Wiver ) navigability must rest upon the experience of a few rowboats and light motor boats . The ( na-viga- naviga ) bility of the Colorado River between Mile 176 and the ( Utah-Arizona UtahArizona ) line must rest upon the experience of a few miners going short distances downstream with rafts and rowboats and coming like distances upstream in rowboats by towing and poling , and in the operation of a few motor boats equipped with ( out- out ) board motors .
