Q You didn't make two round trips, did you? A Yes. Q Two round trips? A Yes. Q In row boats? A Yes sir. Q When going up stream, how did you get up stream? A Well, we rowed and towed, sailed when the wind was favorable rig up a sail with a tarpaulin. Q Are you familiar with some of the rapid water on the Green river? A Yes sir. Q Did you ever try sailing up any of it? A I have tried; I have never been able to sail over it. Q How would you get up that rapid water with your row boats? A Well, if it was too hard to row, we would get out and tow. Q How did you get up through the slide with your row boats? |
