Q Didn't you get hung up a single time on that trip. Mr. Wheeler was the pilot; Mr. Wolverton ran the engine, and we were the passengers. BY THE SPECIAL MASTER: Q Who was Mr. Wheeler? A He was one of the oldest men on the river. Q How long had he been on the river, to your knowledge? A He first moved in there in 1884, I believe, estab-lished a ranch, now called the Wimmer ranch. He had made many trips up and down the river. Q To your knowledge? Had you seen him? A Yes sir; with him on several trips. BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q Did you ever go on any boating trip on the Green river in any kind of boat where you made with any mishap? A On the Green? Q Yes. |
