Show 6893 Reeder- D 4882 Phil Foote bottom. Q Phil is the first name, and Foote the second? A Phil Foote. BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q I don't think we have had described the are of this Phil Foote bottom. How large a bottom was that? A Quite a good- sized bottom. I just can't remember now, several hundred in it; estimated the Valentine bottom at around one thousand acres. Q what about Townsite bottom? A That is quite a large bottom, too; another bottom called Grassy. Q What do you men by quite large, more or less than a thousand acres? A Less than a thousand acres. Q Can you give some approximation? A Three or four hundred acres, something of that king; we didn't survey it, just sized it up. Q You mentioned another bottom, what is that? A Grassy bottom. Q How large is that? A Well, I don't remember whether that is as large as the others, or smaller. |
