A I would know where the channel was then fro sure, unless there had been a big flood; if there had, the channel would be there just the same; the channel don't change; it is the current that crosses the river. We come yup stream, for instance, in low water, thereafter water, we will say, goes across and makes this bend in low water; that don't fill up because there is a big flood comes down, the water may be running up stream at that point where it went down through an eddy, the current has crossed over to the other side; we come up through that eddy water to get |
