A I don't believe I ever did; if I did, I didn't recall it; I don't believe I ever did. BY MR. FARNSWORTH: Q Now, in 1923 you went to the lower Colorado to the California Edison people, did you not? A Yes sir. Q Where did you strike the Colorado? A Less Ferry. Q Where did you go from Lees Ferry? A I would say pretty near to Warm creek, or maybe we went to Warm creek. Q In what boat? A In the Edison Company's boat. Q Is that the same boat you met stuck that couldn't get up the river? A Yes sir, part of it; they made some changes. Q Had you been consulted by the California Edison people or by their engineer with reference to the type of boat to use, the type of paddle wheel? A Yes sir. |
