A Well, sometimes we took a load down the bank, some-times over Wilson mesa to Moab, and bring back supplies. Q That is, when you wanted supplies you would at times send a wagon down loaded with lumber and then bring your supplies back in the empty wagon? A Yes sir, sometimes loaded and sometime empty; some-times didn't take any lumber. Q Sometimes in getting your supplies you wouldn't take any lumber down at all? A No. Q Did you ever take any lumber to Moab by wagon when you did not do it in order to have the wagon down there to bring supplies back? A Yes sir. Q What? A Yes sir. Q Was that the reason, the only reason you did it? A No; sometimes we had a small bill, and we didn't have enough to run a raft, and we would take sometimes a load to fill a small bill.
