Show Student Tutor Society In addition to tutoring several hundred students in subjects ranging from Arabic to Zoology and sponsoring workshops and seminars to improve study habits, the 75 members of the Student Tutor Society took steps this year to increase the scope and improve the quality of the services they provide. Beginning late in winter quarter tutors cooperated with the Foreign Student Advisory Board and with several community agencies to make assistance available to non-students needing help as well as to members of the student body. Improved communications within the Society, official statements on matters of student academic policy, the steady increase in enthusiastic membership and the results of a successful self-evaluation were announced at the annual Spring Banquet held for all members in late May.
