University Chorus Nearly 80 students sang as members of the University Chorus under the direction of Dr. Bernell Hales. With a wide variety of both classical and secular music, ranging from "Campfire Blues" to Mozart's "Calm is the Sea," this capable group's skill, talent and versatility were demonstrated in several concerts with ease and professionalism. During winter quarter the Chorus spent most of its energy preparing Mozart's "Grand Mass in C Minor" for presentation in Kingsbury Hall with the University Symphony. It was the first appearance of the work at the University since its premier in 1958. Dr. Bernell Hales Director 96 |
