Show Bob Matlock President Craig Karren Tim Dunn Vice President Secretary The Associated Men Students of the University received an unsuspected setback when Treasurer-elect Pat Roylance was suddenly called to serve in the armed forces just a few short weeks after the start of fall quarter. Hastily regrouping to redistribute the excess duties among themselves, the remaining three officers and the AMS Council joined forces to sponsor several social activities throughout the year, including a dance in December. The chief function of the AMS Council was, however, to recognize and honor the outstanding male leaders on the campus for the 1966-67 school year. At their annual Awards Banquet in the spring AMS presented citizenship awards for service to the University and feted the members of the senior men's honorary, Owl and Key, and the junior men's honorary, Skull and Bones, to a well-deserved evening of recognition. The AMS Council consisted of Steve Purhonen, Tom Buxton, Bill Smart, and Steve Bushnell. |
