Show Executive Council John Andrew Gaines ASUU President Union Board Chairman As chairman of the Union Board, which is made up of students, faculty, administration and alumni, Fred Finlinson directed the affairs and activities of the Union Building. Under his auspices the Board worked on and completed plans for an expansion program in the Union Building which, along with many improvements, will provide new facilities for campus publications and meeting rooms for various organizations. Bert Willis Executive Assistant ASUU President As president of the student body and chairman of the Executive Council, John's aims were to create better communication among the students of the University. Originated by John, the Executive-Student Body Sound Off programs were founded for the purpose of giving students a chance to communicate their needs to the executive officers. The main thesis of John's administration was to find better and more effective ways to involve each student in the various facets of University life. Fred Finlinson Union Board Chairman Executive Assistant As the ASUU President's right-hand man, Bert Willis very amply fulfilled the duties of keeping a busy, sometimes hectic, executive office in a working, organized condition.
