Show bwimmmg Western Athletic Conference Champions In winning their fifth straight conference championship, the Utah swimming team piled up a total of seven new conference records. Coach Don Reddish, before guiding the team to an outstanding season of thirteen wins and two losses, launched them to national prominence in water polo. The paddlers were led by team captain Mike Garibaldi, back-stroking, record-breaking Terry Craig and four-gold-medal-winner Don Gray. New conference records were set in all medleys in both the 50 and 100 yard freestyle, in the 100 yard backstroke and in the 200 yard backstroke. The announcement of Reddish's fifth title brought cheers from fans at the Utah-BYU basketball game when announced at half-time. Members of the WAC champion team are (front row) Coach Don E.
