These were some of the outstanding gymnasts who graced Coach Larry Anderson's Ute gymnastics team during the 1966-67 season. If there had to be a team leader for the WAC 4th place finishing Utes, then Mike Kimball would have to be the one. Kimball sus-stained a leg injury at the end of the season and thus missed a chance at winning some points in the WAC championships. It was a tough stroke of luck for Mike, who is a potential Olympics candidate. Brent Hale was third in the all around during the WAC tournament, but trampolinist Pete Brandt brought home the victory roses in the trampoline competition. Over all, the Ute gymnasts enjoyed a most successful year. 178 |
