Show ASUU Committees Coordinating all campus activity from Homecoming to the married students, the chairmen of the 21 ASUU Committees helped to benefit the entire student body. As part of their service, the committee chairmen guided a variety of functions including Challenge Week with its stimulating speakers, the judging of competitive ASUU events, and the directing of the Junior Prom. ASUU committees supervised service drives, student tutoring and Ute-Tahna, songleader and cheerleader activities. Leadership application was encouraged through the Leadership committee while interest and spirit were promoted by the Student Participation committee. Human relations were improved through the Panel of Americans discussions and the Students from Abroad committee. Organized by the U-Days committee, these traditional days ended the year, leaving summer functions to be handled by the Summer School Committee.
