Show The AWS represented all women on campus and provided them with an array of exciting activities throughout the year. The year began with a new Big and Little Sister program in which freshmen women were welcomed to their first year at the University with a personal letter from an upper class "big sis". Other activities included a scholarship fashion show, selling homemade goodies to those in the dorms, having an early morning dance, a contest for the best dressed woman on campus and working with the resident halls on dorm standards. The year was highlighted with Women's Week and Hall of Fame, where the outstanding student women of the year were honored for their past achievements. Those chosen for Cwean and Mortar Board were tapped at this time. The AWS Council worked hard to provide a more meaningful year for University women.
