Show -13- State of California, ) ) ss. County of Ventura, ) On this 28th day of July, in the year of our Lord, one thousand nine hundred and eight, before me, F. M. Kirk, a Notary Public in and for said County and State, residing therein, duly commissioned and qualified, personally appeared A. L. Hobson, known to me to be the President, and Chas. Donlon, known to be to be the Secretary of Palo Verde Land and Water Company, the corporation that executed the within and foregoing instrument, and they acknowledged to me that said corporation executed the same. In Witness Whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my official seal, at my office in Said County, the day and year in this certificate first above written. F. M.
