Show Excepting and reserving, however, unto the said party of the first part, its successors and assigns, for its and their perpetual use, the right, privilege and easement of: 1st:- Carrying and conveying, through certain of the canals, hereinafter specified, of said irrigation system, irrigating and other waters from the Colorado River, westerly and southerly, to such points near the bluff of the upper mesa of said Palo Verde Valley as may be convenient for stations from which to pump such waters to, upon, over and about said upper mesa; 2nd:- Using the intake, gates and other works and properties of said canals, and of enlarging said canals for the purpose of increasing their capacity; 3rd:- Carrying and conveying water into, storing water in, and taking such water from said "Olive Lake". The right, privilege and easement of carrying and conveying said waters through and enlarging certain of the canals of said irrigation system, reserved hereby, is and shall be limited to such of the canals, now or hereafter to be constructed, of said system, as may be convenient or necessary to carry such waters from said river to said points near the bluff of said upper mesa, including any canal or canals that may be hereafter constructed, southerly from a point of rock known as "Black Point", and such right, privilege and easement to so carry and convey such waters through said canals, shall, at all times, be limited to; (a) Such portion of the capacity thereof as may exist by reason of any enlargement which may hereafter be made by the party of the first part at its own cost and expense, and |
