Show CALIFORNIA DEFENDANTS Exhibit No. 332 Identification: May 17, 1957 Admitted: May 17, 1957 Notice of Water Appropriation. C. C. Sec. 1415. Notice is hereby given, that the undersigned, A. A. Moore, Jr., and Mrs. Florence Blythe Moore, (his wife), intends to claim and does hereby claim 300,000 inches, miners measure, under a four (4) inch pressure, of the water flowing in the Colorado River, County of Riverside, State of California; said water to be diverted at a point on the west bank of said Colorado River where this notice is posted, being a point on the "Blythe Tract of Land", known locally as Black Point, and situated in section 7 (seven), township 5 (five) south, of range 24 (twenty-four) east, San Bernardino Meridian. Said water is claimed for the purpose of irrigating one hundred thousand acres of land in Riverside and San Diego Counties, California, in Townships 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9, south, in ranges 21, 22, 23 and 24 east, San Bernardino Meridian, and is intended to be used to irrigate lands embraced in Paloverde Valley, said valley being situated in above described townships and ranges. Said water is to be diverted by means of main canals and lateral ditches and conducted from the point of diversion to all parts of said Paloverde Valley by means of said main canals and lateral ditches.
