Show contract shall be paid to the United States by the District v.hen due* Accumulation and Use of Reserve Fund 10. (a) Beginning with the calendar year follo\dng the year in which the Secretary advises the District that the dam and appurtenant works are substantially completed, pursuant to Article 7(a) hereof, and continuing thereafter until such time as all sums of money becoming due hereunder shall have been paid to the United States, the District shall accumulate and maintain, in the manner hereinafter provided, a reserve fund which shall be available for the purposes and in the circumstances hereinafter mentioned, (b) Within the first calendar year after said determination by the Secretary that the dam and appurtenant works are substantially completed, the District shall deposit in said reserve fund the sum of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars (^25,000). In addition, commencing in that same year and continuing for ten (10) years thereafter, the District shall deposit in said reserve fund the sum of Twenty-five Hundred Dollars ($2,500) each year. Thereafter, the District shall deposit in said reserve fund the sum of Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000) each year until the reserve fund shall total One Hundred Thousand Dollars (#100,000), which total sum shall be maintained at all timesj provided, however, that after the aforesaid initial deposit of Twenty-five Thousand Dollars (^25,000), the sum of Five Thousand Dollars (^5,000) shall constitute the maximum 19 |
