-74- levee district of Riverside and Imperial counties, California, or the Palo Verde Mutual Water Company (should the system of that company be taken over and any of its bonds assumed by this district), or the Palo Verde drainage district, or the bonds of this district, and also a detailed statement of the amount necessary to maintain, repair and operate the levees, water works, or reclamation works, or the maintenance, upkeep or operation of any other works under the control of the district, and likewise to defray the expenses of administering or conducting the affairs of the district, and of carrying into effect the purposes of this act during the forthcoming fiscal year. The statements of the interest payments to become due upon the bonds of this district, the levee district, and the drainage district, or other bonds assumed by this district, as well as the expenditures necessary for the levee protection work, drainage or reclamation work constructed by said respective districts shall all be Duty of separately stated. Should the board of trustees supervisors. x J of the district fail to furnish such statement, it shall nevertheless be the duty of the boards of supervisors of said counties to ascertain the amount required to meet interest and installments of principal which will accrue during the forthcoming year, as well as such payments as may have accrued and remain unpaid, and assess and collect said amount as herein provided. iatSnt Sec. 27.
