Show __2__ 2. That in pursuance of the provisions of said act, an election for the purpose of determining whether or not the Palo Verde Irrigation District authorized to be created thereby, should be created and organized, was duly and regularly called, and the same was held on the 27th day of November, 1923, in the city of Blythe, county of Riverside, state of California, and as the result thereof, the said district was authorized to be created, and was created, by a vote of more than a majority of the qualified electors voting at said election in favor thereof, and all other proceedings required to be taken for the calling and holding of said election and for the creation and organization of said district were duly and regularly taken, and the provisions of said Palo Verde Irrigation District Act pertaining to the creation and organization of said district were fully and regularly complied with, and said district has been duly organized and created and is now in full force and effect, possessed with all of the powers, duties and rights provided for by the provisions of said act of the legislature. 3. That at said election for the organization of said Palo Verde Irrigation District, the defendants named in this action, to wit, A. T. Galloway, A. L. Hobson, A. E. Warmington, Herman J. Hauser, Herman Neipp, C. B. Reynolds and Tony Seeley, and each of them, were duly elected as members of the board of trustees provided for in said act, to hold office for the terms and in the manner prescribed by said act with respect to the trustees elected at the first election therein provided for, and each and all of said persons duly qualified as such trustees, with the exception of the defendant A. L. Hobson, and all of said trustees so duly elected and qualified comprised the |
