Show -56- district of Riverside and Imperial counties, California, the Palo Verde drainage district, and the Palo Verde Mutual Water Company (if the system of said company is taken over by this district as hereinbefore authorized), or for the purpose of redeeming any or all of such bonds, or for the purpose of providing for the refunding of the same, or any part thereof; and generally, for defraying the expense of carrying all the purposes of this act into effect, the district is authorized to issue and dispose of its bonds as herein provided. ?moeunn?iofing Sec. 16. Determining Amount of Bonds to belsued. be Issued. For the purpose of ascertaining the amount of money necessary to be raised for such purposes, or any of them, the board of trustees shall cause such inventories, appraisals, surveys, examinations, drawings and plans to be made as shall furnish the proper basis for such estimates. Such appraisals, surveys, examinations, drawings and plans, and the estimates based thereon, may provide that the works necessary for a completed project shall be acquired and constructed progressively during a period of years. In the estimate of the amount of money to be raised by the first issue of bonds for any project or purpose, the board of trustees may include a sum sufficient to pay the interest on all such bonds as may be issued by this district, and also all such bonds or other obligations of the Palo Verde joint levee district of Riverside and Imperial counties, California, or the Palo Verde drainage district, or the Palo Verde |
