Show CALIFORNIA DEFENDANTS Exhibit No. 327 Identification: May 17, 1957 Admitted: May 17, 1957 Notice Notice is hereby given that I the undersigned does hereby claim ninety-five thousand (95,000) inches (under a four inch pressure) of the waters of the Colorado River to be taken at or near this notice, at Black Point, near the line that divides the South West quarter from the North West quarter of Section 7 in Township 5 South, Range 24 East, San Bernardino Base and Meridian in a ditch to be cut 124 feet wide by four feet deep; also claim an additional ninety-five thousand (95,000) inches (under a four-inch pressure) of the water of said Colorado River, to be taken out of Olive Slough (a branch of the Colorado River) at or near this notice, which point is at or near the center of South East quarter of Section 34, in Township 5 South, Range 23 East, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, in a ditch to be cut 124 feet wide by 4 feet deep. The above mentioned ditches and the water therein are intended to be brought together at a point in Section 7, Township 6 South Range 23 East, San Bernardino Base and Meridian, and carried therefrom in a main canal to be known as the "Desert Land Canal" in a South Westerly course on a line convenient for irrigating the Bottom Lands and Desert Land in Township 6 South Range 23 & 24 East, San Bernardino Base and Meridian; also to irrigate lands in Township 6 South Range 22, 23 & 24 East, San Bernardino Base & Meridian; also to irrigate lands in Township 7 South, Range 21, 22 & 23 East, San |
