Show CALIFORNIA DEFENDANTS Exhibit No. 329 Identification: May 17, 1957 Admitted: May 17, 1957 Notice Notice is hereby given to all whom it may concern that we the undersigned do hereby claim 95,000 inches (measured under a four (4) inch pressure) of the water of the Colorado River, to be taken out of the Colorado River at this Notice, in the right bank of the Colorado River in Section 25, Township 5 South, Range 23 East and Section 30, Township 5 South, range 24 East, San Bernardino Base and Meridian. To be taken out in a ditch One hundred and twenty four (124) feet wide, six (6) feet deep and carried in a South Westerly direction in the ditch now being built by T. H. Blythe and O. P. Callaway and emptied into the North East of Olive Slough. Then to be taken out of said Slough in a ditch Sixty four (64) feet wide now being built by T. H. Blythe and O. P. Callaway, in Section 34, Township 5 South, Range 23 East, San Bernardino Base and Meridian. Also the right to take it out of Olive Slough near the North and South line of Section 2 and 3, Township 6 South, Range 23 East, San Bernardino Base and Meridian in a ditch 60 feet wide and four (4) feet deep, this Canal is intended to be used as an irrigating Canal to be run parallel to the location of the Desert Land Canal, located the 17th of July, 1877, by T. H. Blythe. We also claim the right to take another Canal out of Olive Slough in Section 11, Township 6 South, Range 23 East, San Bernardino Base and Meridian. |
