A The road from Monticello, which I say is gravelled two- thirds of the way; the rest of it is a graded dirt road; there is a graded dirt road from Monticello to Bluff. West from Bluff, along the San Juan River, there is a poor road which is travelled; it is a dirt road unimproved. Q When you went into the San Juan country, how did you get in there? A We went in that way ( indicating), from Salt Lake City to Moab, down to Monticellowand Bluff west to Mexican Hat, and crossed the bridge at Mexican Hat and then into that country. Q Into what?
