A I could show you an illustration. There it is ( indicating). Q Did the river rise vertically more than a foot or so? A Oh, very much more than a foot or so. Q That is what I am trying to get at. How much would you say it did rise? A The river at the point where we were rose between 25 and 30 feet. Q Between 25 and 30 feet? A I think that that is being very conservative about it. Q You pulled your boat up the slope 25 or 30 feet? A No, we probably pulled it 50 feet up the slope. Q I understood from your direct testimony that you pulled it up about 30 feet. A I mean that was the height to which it was pulled. Now, in pulling it up, we would have to pull 50 feet in order to get it higher. Q I see.
