Out there I the services of Parley, Glaloway, the son of Nathan Gal who had made a previous trip through the canyon. Nathan loway piloted the Julius Stone expedition, and also he had gone through himself. Parley Galloway grew up on the river. He and his father hunted and trapped through Desolation Canyon and the other canyon in the upper part of the Colorado River. Parley Galloway had not been through the Grand Canyon, but had been through the upper part of the river. I was joined at Greenriver also by an International News Reel camera man.
