The first eight issues for 1928 were put out under the supervision of Mac-Alan Gardner as editor. Miss Helen Orr, who was one of the associate editors last fall was appointed as his successor, and has acted in that capacity since that time. She has been assisted by James K. Knudsen, Robert Hale Kirkman and Richard Lambourne as associate editors,-"together with an extremely capable reportorial staff.LaMar Webb has proved to be an highlyefficient business manager. In fact, at times, thepaper has been so swamped with "ads" that it was a case of hide and seek in orderto find space for the "news." He has been given invaluable aid in this post byDave Wells and Vernon Anderson.An innovation in special editions for the Chronicle was the "All-Men's" issue which was put out by the freshmen class with Ed Newman as editor. Other special issues were put out on Homecoming Day, Thanksgiving Day, "U" Day and High School Day.HELEN ORR Editorfe*Three hundred six |
