Cecil scored one touchdown for the Utes, while Couch and Hodgson went over for two each.According to rumors from the divorce center, Ike Armstrong's band completely outsmarted the pack of Wolves in every department of the encounter and coasted to a well earned victory. Couch gained an average of five yards per thrust to lead the offensive attack. The Utah campaign resorted to the air when the ground drive failed to penetrate.Utah wore down the opposition right from the start, but the Nevadans came back in the third quarter, though already outclassed, to push over a touchdown on a ten-yard dash by Sullivan, Nevada halfback. Substitutions throughout the tussle were frequent. Since the season was early and the schedule had not yet commenced, Ike took the opportunity to eye every prospect to at least prime him for reserve duties, of which there were plenty throughout the season. Watkins and Davis, two brilliant performers, went idle during this fracas on account of undesirable injuries.â- •;:•<c:i<**<•'POM" POMEROY Full\<-±kJfl^r^^t^^^^^q^pc^r^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^ |
