C. unit at Utah has received the honor rating given by the federal authorities for general efficiency in all military activities. A large part of the credit for such an enviable record is due to the experienced and capable leadership of the instructors who have been assigned to this special R. O. T. C. duty. The work during the past year has been supervised by Major James A. Gillespie, who before duty here was stationed in Columbia, South America Military Attache with the American Legation. Other officers who have worked under Major Gillespie are Captain Woodruff, from Fort Sill, Oklahoma; Captain Harris from Fort Sam, Houston, Texas; Captain Boylen from Fort Bragg, North Carolina; Captain Green from Fort Louis, Washington; and Lieutenant Holweger from Fort D. A. Russell, Wyoming. These officers have performed in a commendable manner during the past year, and it is their whole-hearted wish that the Utah unit will continue to carry on with the same efficiency in the future as it has in the past.s^iilillllllMAJOR JAMES A.
