Show Who are the Centerville City Landmarks Commissioners? December's issue of Timeline looked at two members of the Landmarks Commission , this insert highlights the remaining five Commissioners. Likes chocolate. Has been known to fish . Tim 's interest in historic preservation stems from a love of good architecture (buildings that show care and creativity in their design) and a love of stories. At its best, he believes historic preservation offers us a better sense of who we are-the past informs the present. It also deepens our connections to place and community. Centerville's rich history offers that chance to each of us who are fortunate enough to call it home. Timothy Hawkes The Landmarks Commission is excited to welcome its newest member to the Commission! The Newest Member Brad was appointed in December, 2012 . He has a long history of Centerville roots and brings a great knowledge of those who originally settled our community. Education and Experience Brad Porter Brad has an associates in Applied Science in Water Treatment and Distribution , a bachelors of Computer Science and Masters of Business Admin istration . During the mid 1980's he worked as the Centerville City Water Department Superintendant. He also served as the Deuel Creek Irrigation Company Water Master for four years. Currently Brad is employed with the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as a solutions Manager. |
