When I made the Experiments for this and the foregoing Difcourfe, not having fo good convenicncy at home for making the salts Lufed: I procured them all (except that of Firve, which I made my felf ) to be purpofely prepared by Mr. Joh Blackstone a London Apothecary, who aflured me ofhis great care herein 3 andparticularly, that he added no Nitre to whiten anyof the Salts with, as is commonly done for that ofTartar.
