Show %S.dC-Bill PetersonNo. 21The visiting Farmers from Utah State just didn't have "it" on their Salt Lake visits as the Utes won the first tussle 61 to 42 and the second 62 to 52. Vern Gardner had two of his best nights against the Loganites. The first night he scored 20 points and the second he hit the old bucket for 27 counters. The first game was a complete run-away as the Utes swamped the Aggies, shoving them further into the Skyline Six cellar. During the second fracas, however, the Ags refused to be pushed around quite so much and provided some resistance, but not enough to halt the Utah steam-roller.The Utes made a clean sweep of the Ag series without too much difficulty. Coach Peterson swept the bench of all regulars and reserves in both games. These victories boosted Utah's stock in the league race, but placed the battered and bruised Aggies further down the ladder.Frank Brooks No. 27Wiilard KnibbjNo. 19On the pivot position, Gardner prepares to hand theball off to Murray Satterfield. Utah Aggies got thetomahawk in their scalps both times they played the Indians in Salt Lake. With the situation reversed, an Aggie looks for some one to receive the ball.
