Show l/v e here present to you tickets to one of the greatest plays in America, the UNIVERSITY OF UTAH REVIEW. This production covers the period of a year, contains material to please every taste, and features an all-star cast of young college students and their teachers. The main theme of the play is college days, spelled daze by some students, and represents student life on the Ute campus.Your seat can be a sofa, an arm chair, the front seat of the car, or on the grass under the shade of a tree; but wherever you may be, your seat is the best location in the UTONIAN theatre. You arrive at the theatre early to avoid the last minute rush and having to excuse yourself while stepping on the feet of your fellow theatre goers. Before the performance begins you will look at the program to find out a little more about the production, its scenes, producers, directors, and actors. All through the play there will be spot lights in many different colors pointing the way and revealing what is to follow. Also with every spot light there will be a hand, busy at some duty or task, showing what phase of the production is next.Just as you finish looking at the program the orchestra in the pit begins the overture. As the last strains of music fade out in the mighty hall, the footlights brighten and the play begins. As it is written the play is a fast moving production with humor, tragedy, love, and contestsâ€"all in the proper proportions, and mixed in the correct manner. After the play is over you will want to know what the actors do when they are off the stage, living their private lives. All of this information will be recorded for you.The events which take place in producing the review all have something to do with your future life. What has happened and what will happen during the four years of University life will shape the future for all of the nine thousand students enrolled in the hilltop school. In years to come you will enjoy recalling memories and reliving an outstanding college year.It is our hope that this review will prove the old saying, "Those were the days....."UNIVERSITY ^ UfAH UtiKANtt |
