Expansion of research and graduate work, new staff members, and excellent modern equipment, such as a new Mark 16 radar unit, have kept qualified students on campus, and have drawn foreign students from all over the world to the College of Engineering.University engineers are constantly helping in engineering projects throughout the state, and the accelerated industrial development of this area indicates that well-trained students will be readily placed upon graduation.Standard equipment for working the many problems includes a slide rule and a manual of engineering tables. All engineering students find that mathematics plays a big part in their education as builders of tomorrow's world. |
