Show W.H-dThe Women's Recreation Association sponsors all women's athletic activities on the Ute campus. Its main function is to provide fun and pleasant recreation for all women students, with a chance to make new friends, an opportunity to participate in the activities one enjoys, and a chance to gain new interest in different sports by offering a varied program that should fill a need for every girl on the campus. A student may enter tournaments in team sports such as basketball, softball, hockey, and track and field events. Also there are clubs in which many find good companionship and interesting good times enjoying such activities as swimming, riding, square dancing, golf, and even bridge and shooting on the rifle range. Indeed, W. R. A. offers something to interest every college woman.A very ambitious group of girls are the officers of W. R. A.
