With this clever slogan in mind, the Snow Carnival Committee filled their week with exciting activities for everyone who was willing to brave the cold and snowy weather. "Snoyo Days" got off to an enthusiastic start with the Barrel Stave Relay and the Snow Sculpturing contest. Another big feature that highlighted the week was the gala ice-skating party at Emigration Canyon. Utes then treked to Brighton for the intramural ski races and climaxed their fun with the Snow Carnival Dance that Saturday evening.Snoyo stands by his iglo welcoming Utes to the Snow Carnival Dance in Lower Slobbovia, while two dancers inspect his "icy" abode.Three beautiful brunettes (they can ski, too) reigned over "Snoyo Days." Queen Corene Cowan (center) and attendants Adela Mays and Connie Gleave added glamour to the week's events. |
