Show nontcie...Working to keep the Chronicle within its yearly budget, the business staff spent much time contracting downtown advertisers. In order to encourage downtown business establishments to advertise, the Chronicle business staff sponsored a "Best Dressed Man" contest in which local merchants' products were built up as the clothes for the best dressed man of the campus.Business manager Earl Woolley was the mind behind many of the Chrony advertising campaigns.
