Show (Jamfius (Jnes/...FEBRUARY 15-18The Campus Chest committee conducted many new and unique schemes to persuade everyone to contribute to the fund. All class-roms were canvased by members of the committee and a caravan of cars transported students between the Annex and the lower campus for contributions. A dance was held downtown at which members of the faculty were auctioned off. With a smile and a request for contributions the various campus queens stood by the cashiers at eating establishments on the campus. One of the high spots of the week was the Campus Clown, who was to be seen in the most unexpected places, and one of the frequent questions during this time was "who is he?"The Campus Clown, more commonly known as Art Jackson, M. C.'s the Campus Chest assembly. Mervinâ€" the magician, Earl Donaldson, and Jazzbo all contributed their talents to make the assembly a great success.The Campus Chest committee had the largest membership of any A.S.U.U. group of the year. The result of the drive proves that all of the members did their part and did it well.
