Show ~HWCity Cemetery. Although none of these properties would appear to lie directly within the APE of the proposed project corridor, it is possible that they could be indirectly affected either visually (through the construction of sound or retaining walls) or perhaps by noise or vibrations generated by passing trains. Because of their historical importance, it was deemed necessary to acknowledge the proximity of these historic resources to the proposed project corridor in order to ensure that any indirect affects might be kept to a minimum. Summary Six pedestrian survey and six historic building inventory areas were identified within the APE of the project corridor (Figures 1-4). No new archaeological sites were identified as a result of the standard pedestrian survey. Following is a brief summary of fmdings of eligibility for the potentially historic properties assessed through the historic building inventories (Table 3). Three buildings within the survey corridor qualified as exceptional building examples likely to be eligible for individual nomination to the NRHP. One structure consists of a 1915 bungalow with very few alterations which is currently being utilized as a beauty salon. The second structure falling within Table 3.
