Show HAMILTON SAH: Ham is an experiment in international living, being born in Peiping and transplanted to California at a tender age. After completing premedical work at the University of California at Davis, he chose Utah medicine. The language barrier was initially a bit of a problem Ham speaks pure Californianese. From the first day of anatomy when he came up with the only female cadaver, he has felt the appeal of a career in obstetrics. Known for his many individualistic qualities, Ham will probably be best remembered for his inevitably intricate answers to the simplest of questions in pathology presentations. No one is likely to forget the consummate style wi1h which Ham was able to enter a lecture late and still manage to find a chair on the front rowor carry one there. His interests vary from sports, opera, and comic books to Playboy magazine. During the summer of 1965 Ham was an extern at the French Hospital in San Francisco. He plans on an intership at Holy Cross Hospital followed, possibly, by a residency in obstetrics and gynecology. KENNETH R. STEVENS, JR.: Ken was raised in Logan, Utah, served an LDS mission, and attended Utah State. Like all Utah Staters, he is a die-hard Aggie (who has had something to cheer about in recent years). At medical school, Ken's sincere, unassuming manner won him many friends while his roommate, Scott Brown, kept him informed on the meaning of Hashimoto's jokes. Then Ken realized an ambition of golfers everywhere by marrying Bonneville pro Dick Kramer's daughter. However, ·Shannon was confident there were no ulterior motives Ken doesn't golf. Ken's summers have been spent as grasshopper scout, psychiatrist and neurologist. His future plans lean away from the former and towards the latter or internal medicine. 62 |
