Show ROBERT EDWARD KECHELY: Kech's good nature and concern for others have left many in his debt. Formidable on the field, the Casper, Wyoming, Athlete of the Year has made his "impression" on opponents for four years here. Mary and Eric enlighten home life for a most conscientious student. Enjoying universal popularity was apparently not enough since Kech feigned a fractured fibula for two weeks in his senior year and received unbounded sympathy until he conveniently revised his diagnosis. Sincerity with people is perhaps Kech's hallmark and will contribute to his success as a "little folks" doctor. GARY F. LARSEN: Gary was born in SLC but I ived most of his I ife on Larsen Avenue in Larsenville (later called Bountiful). In high school Gary was known as an all around athlete. He went to college at BYU and Utah with time out for an LDS mission in Australia. Gary was regarded as one of the eligible bachelors in our class, and was extremely elusive until cornered and trapped by a Utah State K.D., a very formidable type of opponent as others in the class will verify. Gary's summer activities in medical school have included neurology, cardiology and hod carrier. He figures the last was probably the most productive. His plan for the future is a practice in Jackson Hole with plenty of time for Suzanne, snow and water skiing. Gary's friendly good humor and innate ability (both academic and athletic) have won him lasting friends during these four years. 56 |
