In Medical School, Jack has continued his competitive nature, and is noted for his excellent work in the Orthopedic Clinic where he has fashioned many a memorable cast for his several injuries incurred in the line of duty. Jack, Marion, and their baby daughter plan to intern at LDS followed by a residency in orthopedic surgery. BOYD EASTHAM NELSON: Despite spending much of his childhood in Ogden, Utah, Boyd calls Trenton, New Jersey his home. He received a B.S. in medical biology from the University of Utah. Although he denies any ulterior motives, he married a medical technologist several weeks before entering medical school. Boyd spent two summers in biochemical research and one as a substi• tute physician at the Utah State Mental Hospital. He and Connie expect to have their first child just about the time he begins his rotating internship. Future plans are still a bit vague, but Boyd is leaning toward an internal medicine speciaJty. The Nelsons plan to make their home in Arizona or Southern California. 58 |
