Show JAMES LAMAR PARKIN: A native of Bountiful, Utah, Jim did his undergraduate work at the University of Utah and served a mission to Sweden prior to entering medical school. Following his freshman year, he married and is now teaching his new son some of his old tricks. Two summers and considerable time during the school years were spent in research for the Pathology Department. jim is conscientious, possesses a keen intellect and has done exceptionally well in medical school. During his senior year, Jim served as Student Body president and student-intern on Ob-Gyn. Future plans are not yet settled; however, he intends to enter internal medicine or surgery following his internship. JAMES BARRY ROBB: After conquering his first year of medical school at George Washington University, Barry decided that our class needed additional talent, color and competition, so he returned home to finish with us. Upon arriving, he not only accepted the responsibilty of coach and athletic director of the class, but with his ubiquitous wit he penetrated all other aspects of our activities as well. As expected, Barry has continued to excel scholastically. 'Nith his lovely wife, Sylvia, and his Miss America daughter, Debbie, we all agree it was our gain when Barry transferred to the U. After graduation, Barry plans to give up coaching and to do his internship at Holy Cross, which will begin his long course in neuro-surgery. We look forward to seeing him on "Ben Casey." 60 |
