Show ARTHUR KAY BENSON: An Affinity for exotic adventure has characterized Kay's medical school career. His opinionated quips have punctuated the otherwise normal academic routine; however, no retort was available the day Dr. Bennett questioned Kay's obvious absence on the psychiatry ward and finally summarized, "All I can say is I'm here, and he's not." Turning to more sane pursuits, Kay spent his junior summer as an extern in Hawaii and dollygagging with the ubiquitous surf sylphs there. Kay's literary and artistic talents are abundantly evident in this yearbook and greatly appreciated as a major factor in its success. Many aspects of medicine presently occupy Kay's interest, and he will serve a mixed medicine-surgery internship at the Medical Center. PAUL S. BERGESON: A future Pediatricotolaryngocardiologist, Paul plans to limit his practice to children aged seven in order to keep abreast of his field. His abundant enthusiasm has been frequently misinterpreted as a vigorous compulsive neurosis. This impression was reinforced when he outlined four volumes of Brain's textbook of neurology for a thirty minute discussion on headaches. During his summers, Paul filled externships in pathology, orthopedics and marriage. Following c1 straigh1· pediatric internship and residency, Paul plans to practice locally. 45 |
