Show Russell Jacobs 19 March 2010 time of day, the date. You know, just something, just a little record, but most places ... like Moses Tower had that. .. you know, but The Titan had it, too. But The Titan ... and we thought maybe this little tiny .. .it seemed like a little bait box, like a tin but it had a hinge on it that would open up, and as you opened up, you know those little poppies you get during Christmas time when you donate to the, uh, Salvation Army? MD: Um-hmm. RJ: Those little pots, and they give you the little synthetic poppy. That was actually wound around one of the two hinges that opened the lid. RJ: Uh, and it's one or two notches more difficult than the core route. But we decided we might as well get to business, you know, and get this scary rappel over with. You know, and, uh, we just were very, very careful and just put minimum pressure on our anchors as we descended off the summit to the notch ... well, it was .. .I'm sure we had to 18 |
