Show 19 3 4 Track Squad Track A squad of athletes who can come through with a win in the pinches is what Armstrong had this year. Every man on the squad, from the lowliest freshman to the aged senior did his share in making this season's team one of the best seen at Utah in recent years. The team as a whole was made up of a few outstanding stars. By virtue of victories over the Aggies and the "Y" invaders in successive dual meets, Utah annexed the state dual meet championship. Jack Johnson, hammer thrower and Knewel Rushforth, high jumper de luxe, broke state records against Young. A mighty heave of 148.98 feet gave Johnson first place in the hammer. Meanwhile Rushforth jumped 6 feet 2 and seven-eighths inches. Herman Goldstein and Howard Greenwell repeatedly finished first and second, or vice versa in the sprints, creating a rivalry which delighted the fans. Jeppson and Har-tenstein provided the punch in the quarter m'le dash with Captain Lusty starring in the mile event.
