Show "Death Takes A Holiday' Theta Alpha Phi UNDERTAKING the greatest dramatic venture in years of campus drama history, the Utah Alpha chater of Theta Alpha Phi, national dramatic fraternity, successfully presented three fascinating plays during the spring quarter. The capacity houses for every performance clearly indicate the trend of the public toward recognition of the campus theatre as the medium of an active stage revival in Utah. The dramatic organization cannot be commended too highly for its unusual professional performances. "Erstwhile Susan," a delightful comedy of Mennonite manners and customs, was the first of the series to be presented March 30, under the direction of Professor Maud May Babcock. The second play, the immortal "Death Takes a Holiday," was produced April 7, under the masterful direction of Professor Joseph F. Smith. A thoroughly professional dramatic season was excellently culminated with John Drinkwater's hilarious comedy, "Bird in Hand," presented April 21, with Miss Marion Redd as director.
