Show Tv WO scoring surges in the first and fourth periods against an otherwise stifling Denver University defense gave Utah its fifth conference triumph of the season at the "U" bowl, November 12. In these two periods the Tribe pushed across four touchdowns, and counted three goals after touchdown to total 27 to 0 for the Centennial staters. Denver was obsessed with the idea that it was the team to stop Utah. It came with chances of winning if any conference team could so boast, having proved itself the best of the foes on the other side of the slope. Besides this, a newly imported mentor from the west coast was to have his first shot at an Armstrong-coached machine. The invaders put up a stubborn fight, and during the first part of the game it locked as if Denver might hold Utah. At times their defense was most impregnable, but only at times, and in the interim the Utes capitalized extensively.
