Show o NLY after breaking two state records and winning in a lightning finish that left the spectators breathless and the contestants in a frenzy, were the Utes able to take an uphill battle from the B. Y. U. and win a sensational victory, 73^ to 71 l/z. It was the gritty running of Ed Jeppson, who came from behind with but a few feet to go to pass Pete Wilson in the mile relay, that gave Utah the meet. Jack Johnson was forced to break the record in the hammer event to defeat Ernie Shober of the "Y," and Knewell Rushforth sent Buck Grant's high jump into the "has-beens," when he cleared the bar at 6 feet 2^8 inches. Greenwell reversed the tables on Goldstein in th's meet and romped home with a first in the 100 in the good time of 9.9, but Goldstein was not to be "put down," stepping out in the 220 to beat "Porky." Reeves came through with a win in the discus-Davies took the javelin without difficulty-and both relay teams again showed their heels to the "Y" opponents.
